News and Information Sites (Your typical mess)

Fark.com  -  "It's not news, it's Fark". No, I don't know what that means, but it's a cool news site which collect news articles from all over. It's not just all news, but it's usually enjoyable to visit.
CNN.com  -  Can you hear it? It's James Earl Jones, "This is CNN". It's one of those broad pronounced voices and a quick tag line, it's just right there when someone says CNN.
BBC News  -  Sometime you need to take a look at the news through someone else's eyes.
USA Today - And then back in the US.
USNews  -  Not as flashy as USA Today, is it.
ABC News  -  American Broadcasting Company. Yes, it is.
Wired News  -  This news site is for techies. News about technology and Science.
TechTV.com  -  Also a tech news site, but one which compliments their satellite broadcast channel. Popular computer assistance shows and their web sites are Call for Help and The Screen Savers. The sad thing is they have a commercial (10 second wait) for something when you load their pages.
Newsfilter.com  -  Similar to Fark, but with a much lower morality. Spicier news articles, R rated.

Rights and the way they are abused.

"The man who trades freedom for security does not deserve
nor will he ever receive either."
- Benjamin Franklin

http://www.freespeech.com  The name says it all. Go see if it's right.
You've heard of Al Franken, right? Well at http://www.ohthethingsiknow.com  he has an interesting book shown there about how screwed we all are...now.
Look at our current leadership. It's sad that the Presidents lately are so bad at lying, even a blind man knows when he's walking in the sun. So with that intro, here is a site that is basically logging the lies. http://www.misleader.org/
Perfectly Legal
An interesting look into just how the rich keep themselves rich. Too bad Americans are so lame, we just keep letting it happen. Click on the books for more info.
We The People
This book uses a unique style to help some folks who just don't understand the words, it uses pictures. It's sort of an instructional book for those who don't want to be lame anymore. It's claimed to be
that it "covers such sweeping historical, political and corporate collusion issues in such succinct, accessible terms".
These books and others are available at Buzzflash.com
Electronic Voting. (Link goes to a list of news articles about the danger of this.)
Any Voting Machine Violates Your Right To Vote and to watch your vote counted properly.
I think electronics are great but like anything else, they can be abused. The one critical piece of electronics we need to keep out of our electoral system is a vote counter. Counting votes need to stay in the physical hands of Americans and not in the singular control of a machine. A machine will not be controlled by the people, but the Government and Private Businesses such as
Diebold and ES&S. Do you really want the Government placing your vote for you? Go to this story for more.....
